The World of the Malakim

What are the Malakim? Where did they come from? What do they do? How do they relate to the other Mystics? Who are Mystics? The answers to these questions and more can be found right here.

The Gods

Planet and Moon

After the Big Bang, the first beings to emerge were the gods, powerful entities capable of creating worlds and life itself. At first, they lived in harmony, but over millennia, they divided into two opposing factions: the Celestials, embodying light, life, and creation, and the Cimmerians, representing darkness, death, and destruction.

Their conflict erupted into a great war, ending with the Celestials victorious. The defeated Cimmerians were banished to another plane of existence, left weak and powerless. Freed from opposition, the Celestials turned their focus to shaping the universe, crafting planets, and breathing life into creation.

To safeguard Earth and maintain harmony, the goddess Geia created two guardian races: the Malakim and the Mystics. These beings worked tirelessly to protect her realm, ensuring the Celestials’ influence remained strong.

However, the Cimmerians were not defeated for good. Over time, their power grew, allowing them to breach their confinement. Now, as whispers of chaos spread, the Malakim and Mystics stand ready, prepared to defend Earth against an ancient threat that refuses to stay buried.

Celestials

The Celestials are gods that are considered light. They live in a different plane of existence, but they have the ability to create planets that harbor life in our realm. Life will naturally develop and evolve on habitable planets, and a Celestial can create mystical beings from these lifeforms should they choose. The goddess responsible for creating Earth is Geia, whom the Malakim and Mystics sometimes call Mother Earth.

Cimmerians

The Cimmerians are dark gods that once lived in the same plane of existence as the Celestials. After their defeat, they were sent to a third plane. Unfortunately the Cimmerians have discovered how to infiltrate our universe using the dark matter of space. They believe that if they kill enough planets, they will become more powerful than the Celestials. The Cimmerian that has infiltrated our galaxy is a dark god by the name of Haedar.

The Malakim

When the Cimmerians began to escape from their plane of exisitance, they left a path of destruction. Entire planets left dead, mere lifeless rocks floating through space. The Cimmerian, Haedar, entered into the realm Geia had created. By this time, life on Earth had begun to form on its own, but Geia feared Haedar would kill her beautiful, lively planet. She created the Malakim to defend her precious Earth. Creating beings from scratch, rather than using life that had naturally formed is a daunting task. The Celestial must use a piece of their own soul to create these beings. This is how Geia created the Malakim. When she creates a Malakim, she takes a piece of her soul, splits it and places the pieces within two unborn Malakim. These two are then fated to each other as soul mates called twin flames. This method of creation had never been done before, and Geia hoped this process would ensure a stronger army of guardians and protectors. Having that piece of Geia's soul in themselves, Malikim have heightened, god-like senses and most are smarter, stronger and faster than humans. They are the equivalent of angels on earth.

Hierarchy

The descendants of the first Malakim are considered royalty, and therefore leadership is considered a birthright. There is a hierarchy to the Malakim royals: First come the Kings and Queens and their children, who hold the titles Prince and Princess. Next in line are the Viceroys and Vicerines and their children, which hold the title of Vicary. Then there are various types of Knights. The Ritter Knights are highly skilled

warriors of the Malakim; only Kings and Viceroys are stronger than Ritter Knights. Sentinel Knights are the guardians of each Malakim Colony, and usually hold positions of high degree, like doctors and judges. Then there are the scout knights whom gather information. They are spies for the Colony. The rest of the Colony members are unranked and contribute in other ways that are needed to keep a Colony running.

Twin Flames

When a Malakim comes of age at seventeen, they are then able to pair with their twin flame. Upon pairing, a faint pattern appears on the top of a Malakim's hand. The partern of this marking will be unique to the pair. Once properly married in a joining ceremony and cementing their twin flame bond, the marking will turn black like a tattoo and become permanent. Twin flames can reject each other prior to officially joining for variouls reasons,

but it is extremely difficult to do because of the emotional pain it causes. Occasionally a Malakim will have a non-Malakim twin flame. Twin flames will have not only a powerful connection and attraction to one another, but feel a deep sense of affection and duty toward them immediately upon meeting each other.

The Mystics

Thousands of years ago when Haedar successfully invaded Earth, Geia quickly learned that her army of Malakim was not large enough to defeat the dark god. She swiftly created the Mystics using human hosts. She created five different types of Mystics, each assigned to watch over a specific aspect of Earth and are noted by elemental signs. Since Mystics were created after Malakim and don't contain a piece of Geia's soul, they are considered lesser than Malakim, but higher than humans.  With the help of the Mystics, Geia and her Malakim were able to defeat and detain Haedar to be imprisoned for eternity, though traces of his evil remain on earth.

Werewolves

Representing the element of earth, werewolves were created to pay special attention to the protection of the animals on earth. Able to shift between human and animalistic forms (typically wolves, but occasionally foxes, bears, or deer), they are able to walk among both humans and other living creatures on earth.

Fae Folk

Representing the element of air/wind, the fae folk come in several forms including faeries, elves and sprites. Faeries take a humanistic form, but can shrink in size and grow wings to represent flying insects. Sprites are tiny childlike beings that rarely leave the forests and can change into flowers, mushrooms and small bugs. They also have the ability to change their humanistic appearance at

Warlocks

Representing the element of fire, warlocks were created to pay special attention to the climate, seasons, and overall chemistry of earth. They are able to detect changes in the energies of earth to make predictions and detect threats. Warlocks are able to shape shift into mythical creatures, but tend to prefer ones that fly.

Merpeople

Representing the element of water, the merpeople inhabit the oceans and were created to watch over the seas and all the creatures therein. They are sometimes found in large lakes and rivers as well. Merpeople are able to shift between their human form and aquatic fish-like form so they can not only protect the waters, but visit the world beyond the sea.

will and present as whatever gender they chose, sometime switching between them. Elves are also humanistic in form, but have pointed ears that they try to hide beneath long hair. They can transform into trees and larger plants and occasionally birds. They watch over the skies and plants on earth and can shape shift into bugs or plants. This makes them great spies as well.

Vampires

Vampires were created by Haedar using human hosts. To serve Cimmerians they caused chaos and death on earth. They fed off the blood of humans to try to weaken Geia. After a battle where Geia defeated Haedar, the spell over the vampires broke. They begged Geia for forgiveness and Geia granted it. They became allies to the Mystics, however, having been touched by the darkness, they can

Forgotten Mystics

There was once a fifth Mystic of Geia that has all but disappeared from Earth. They are considered extinct and have been forgotten by most of the Mystical world. If remembered at all, they are thought to be some sort of legend. Merely an ancient story that is seldom talked about.

only survive in the darkness of night. They also retained the curse of only surviving on blood, though they no longer feed on humans. Geia did, however, grant them the power to shape-shift into nocturnal creatures, particularly bats.

Humans

The humans of Earth came into being naturally through evolution. Most humans are completely unaware of the Mystical world, though some have evolved to develop vision beyond most humans. As a result, some have had rare encounters with Mystics. These encounters are believed to be made up claims and have become the source of scary stories humans tell each other.  There are rare cases in which a Malakim paired with a human as their Twin Flame, and in that case, the human gains extraordinary vision to see the Mystical world upon their pairing.
